Announced in February, Osawar Tantei Ozawa Rina is as classic as it gets when it comes to adventures. It tells the story of Rina, an inexperienced detective tasked with solving various mysteries. And it features a point and click interface. What sets this game apart, though, is its platform of choice: the Nintendo DS, which has already proven itself as a worthy platform for adventure games.

Telltale Games announced today that their second Bone game, The Great Cow Race, will be available for purchase in April. As with the last installment, no precise date has been given. With this announcement, a new section has been added to Telltale's website featuring Cow Race details, screenshots, and concept art.

After the loud outcry from gamers, Capcom has apparently decided to restock Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney in US stores, according to a recent report by Gamespot. When it first shipped in October last year, the game was received very well by Nintendo DS owners and soon went out of stock. The situation got quickly out of hand when Phoenix Wright started appearing on online auction sites for nearly triple the original price.

Lighthouse Interactive has recently released a patch for the fantasy adventure, Keepsake. There is a separate download for English, Dutch, German, and Italian releases, and each updates the retail version of the title to version 1.4.

A new, updated version of the white chamber (which was previously reviewed for us by Robert Lacey) has been released. The new version adds a number of new features, including English voice acting, subtitles in Czech, French, Greek and Russian (with yet more translations forthcoming), and 4 new possible endings, in addition to the 4 already possible. There are also a number of bug fixes as would be expected with a new version.

Close on the heels of a German announcement by dtp, developer House of Tales has confirmed a worldwide publishing agreement with ANACONDA for its upcoming adventure, Overclocked. This deal expands the partnership between the two companies which began with a localized release of the acclaimed political thriller, The Moment of Silence.

SCI Studio now has support for creating SCI1 and SCI32-style games, in addition to the SCI0- and style games that have been long available. SCI1 and SCI32 were the engines Sierra used to create their VGA games, such as Leisure Suit Larry 1 [VGA], Space Quest IV and King's Quest V. Previously only the engine used for Leisure Suit Larry 2 and King's Quest IV was available. The engine used to create Leisure Suit Larry 7, LSCI, is also supported.

Momentum AS reported today that Culpa Innata is on track for a June 13 release, although no specifics about publisher agreements have been disclosed.

German developer House of Tales needed a bigger house to accommodate the new staff being hired to work on the upcoming adventure thriller Overclocked. After recently relocating the studio to Bremen, the company announced today that its graphics, programming, and public relations divisions have already been expanded, and that "additional capacities are being created to satisfy the increasing demand for the content and story services provided by HoT."

Start-up publisher Meridian4 have announced their newly opened online store complete with a couple of adventure games. The adventures available for pre-order, are Daemonica and a children's adventure called Great Journey.
