There's been very little fanfare in the English-speaking world for Destination: Treasure Island, the swashbuckling new adventure by Kheops Studio. While a trailer and playable demo are available on the French version of the site, non-francophones will need to make do for now with the pretty pictures, rousing music, and game overview offered at the English site.

The first patch for Secret Files: Tunguska has been released, bringing the point-and-click adventure up to version 1.02. Unfortunately, this only concerns the German version of the game, although the developers promise that an international version of the patch will be released in the upcoming days.

A new patch has been released for Broken Sword: The Angel of Death, bringing the version of the game up to 1.1. Although not a huge update, the patch promises to fix compatibility issues with ATI videocards as well as older AMD processors and corrects several sound issues. Various gameplay bugs such as laggy mouse movement have also been eliminated.

In a surprising announcement, JoWood Productions has revealed its plans to acquire Canadian publisher DreamCatcher Inc. According to the announcement, the deal will make DreamCatcher a wholly owned subsidiary of the Austrian-based publisher.
