Daisy Chain

May is just around the corner and gardens are blooming, so I made an adventure game daisy chain just for you.

Using the written clues that correspond to the numbered flowers, write in the 6-letter answers, one letter on each petal. Each flower will share two letters with the next flower in line, and the words in any given flower can be written clockwise or counterclockwise.  A few letters have been written in as hints, and to get you going in the right direction, I’ll tell you that the first answer is written counterclockwise.

Submit your answers to me by 11:00 PM GMT on Sunday, April 30.  Each one will be worth 10 points for a correct first guess, 9 points for a second, and 8 points for a third.  The maximum number of points you can earn is 210.  Here’s to good pickings!

1 - A wrong one can lead to Game Over!
2 - Super sleuth with a waxed stash
3 - An inky rose
4 - A pill or a notepad could be called this in your inventory.
5 - Sunny is so.
6 - Kent resists being this.
7 - Continue to seek the wiseman in this place of secrets.
8 - Art you wouldn’t want on your walls
9 - A fast-moving sequence, like Barnacle Blast or Whack-A-Rat
10 - Sound comes back in here.
11 - A watery city with a masked thief
12 - A code solution
13 - Mina will do it twice.
14 - There’s a city one and a sharp one.
15 - A leggy sea monster with a stolen body part
16 - Jonathan needs these useful pointy items.
17 - Obtuse, like those colorful intruders
18 - An ocean marauder, like GT
19 - This bendable girl frees the fish.
20 - Graham started out as this.
21 - Old Dallben’s cottage has a roof made of this.

16 - Jonathan needs these useful pointy items.
This might sound a bit silly, but I would like to know which Jonathan is in question here?

I was thinking of Dracula Resurrection and Dracula: The Last Sanctuary because the character you play is Jonathan Harker.  I can’t think of any other Jonathan who would need to carry stakes.
