While it may be self-evident, does Detective Moseley’s nomination of Broken Age include both installments?

I assume he means the entire game.

Since Unavowed and The Shapeshifting Detective have been nominated, and both have received mixed reviews from people who have played the games, (I have played neither,) I’m going to nominate and vote for Lamplight City. It seems to fall into the same general category. I will play if any of the three win.

This is a side comment:

I don’t know what the playthrough policy is for REALLY news games. I ask because the new Leisure Suit Larry game is getting surprisingly good reviews. I was certainly an early detractor thinking a game such as this didn’t deserve much notice in the #MeToo era. But the reviews/comments, including one from our very own chrissie, lead me to believe that the game might be an OK play after all.

So I’m wondering it is too soon to nominate it?

BTW, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Gobble Gobble

I don’t think there’s any problem nominating a new game, RT.

In that case I’ll nominate and vote for Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry. I don’t expect it to get much traction in this playthrough, but it’s a placeholder for playthroughs down the line.

I added it to the tally above, RT.

I’ll vote for Catyph and lead it. I’ll also vote for Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, as well as Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Die.

I vote for Fate of Atlantis, have thought about replaying it. Been a while now and it’s one of my all-time favourites. Would be funnier to do it in a community playthrough.

I still have the official hint book so if anyone gets stuck or have any questions I can give subtle hints.  The Lucasarts hint books were always humorously written so that should be a hoot.

Quick note: There is a really good sale going on at GoG today. Not sure it also ends today. There are several of the older games, e.g. Indy: Fate of Atlantis that are available for ridiculously low prices.

Don’t know whether it’s worth buying a game that you only have an interest in playing as part of a CPT. There are a few on sale like FPFP and Dagger of Amon Ra that have been nominated, but never made it over the top. Your choice.

Almost wish the voting was over so, if it was on the sale list, I could buy it and the next three top vote getters.
