Gorogoa
This looks like a potentially interesting concept. It reminds me of the book puzzle from Samorost 3 where you have to rearrange the order to make things happen.
Thoughts?
.
Can’t believe it’s more than 4 years since the demo enthused many people here on the forums. My main “fear” was that the concept is of such nature that it will either turn into a very repetitive game, or a very short one. Let’s hope they had more than enough time to give us a real “open” game, one that this great concept truly deserves.
Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale
strange trailer for a strange adventure, you can’t tell if its gonna be directed to really mature gamers or kids under 12. but however, that must be a unique concept of sorta god’ like protagonist.
I’ll repeat my sentiments from 4 years ago:
This looks really unique, and that’s one interesting art style.
I sense a lot of potential in this game.
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
The demo featured a really unique style of puzzle design. Gorogoa never seized to be in my most wanted list.
I’m a little concerned that the puzzles may prove a bit too arbitrary. But this looks beautiful and different and I really want to play it.
This has been in development for ages, but it looks like it’s finally coming out very soon: 14 December.
Yeah, can’t wait!

hyped!
Thanks for the update! I’ve been following it since I played the demo, but “following it” meant going to the development blog / facebook page once every few months, since for the past year nothing’s been updated anywhere.
High praise from eurogamer
And high praise from rockpapershotgun as well:

Superb game.
Extremely short (took me less than an hour and a half to complete), but the puzzle design is insanely clever and so, so, so elegant. And it even tells a story (of sorts)!
Brilliant. Solving the puzzles is very satisfying.
Play it. It’s a bit pricey. Play it anyway.
EDIT: Pricey on the PC, that is. I read it’s only 5 bucks for mobiles! Not fair.

Maybe it’s time I retire my flip phone and finally join the world of smart phones lol!
