Were there any good wacky/cartoon point’n’click past year or so?

I would like to play wacky/cartoonish style point’n'click game but can’t find any good titles. I am talking about Monkey Island style game. The last title that suited my taste was Deponia trilogy and most of the Deadlic games. I am eagerly waiting for Thimbleweed Park but it has been in development for ages. Why there are so few humorous adventure games?

Edit: I have found The Little Acre. It looks great. Is it any good?

In addition to wilco’s suggestions you might also enjoy

Duke Grabowski, Mighty Swashbuckler - by Bill Tiller & co
Her Majesty’s SPIFFING - very fun little game.
Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet
And if you haven’t already played it, there’s always Broken Age

If that still doesn’t satiate you burning desire for more wackiness, you could play the Double Fine remakes of Day of the Tentacle, and Grim Fandango.

Thank you for the suggestions. I didn’t know there were so many good looking titles. I have also found The Journey Down. I remember I did play the 2D version and it got the Grim Fandango vibe.

Yes the Journey Down Episodes 1-2 are out now, and very good I might add.
Episode 3 is still in the works.

Pretty average, in my opinion. Not very humorous either.

For what it’s worth, my game, Tick’s Tales would probably fit the bill. Smile

Not new but Stupid Invaders is not to be missed if you haven’t played it and can find it.

Just finished Kelvin and the Infamous Machine and I loved it. It is fun little oldschool point’n'click adventure game paying homage to the classics like Day of Tentacle and Monkey Island. I am really surprised that such games are still being released. But I want more! Wink

Armikrog if you feel nostalgic for a wacky clay animated adventure similar to The Neverhood (and by the same creator).
