Wednesday Random Puzzles Scene

The Feeble Files - Cygnus Alpha - Prison Cell

well, don’t be fooled, Feeble is not sleeping, he is just pretending.

The story behind this scene might be intriguing; when Feeble is prisoned at Cygnus Alpha (the OmniBrain prison) cell he would get hypnotized and transported thru a loop into various location; to the Mess Hall, Work Area, Recreation Room and back to his Cell again.. and at those locations, there is nothing much he can do, yeah.

It would take a while to get sense of this loop, and to figure and out that what needed is to get out of this loop first, also that your cell is actually the place where you should take an action from, ..the way to wake up from this repetitive-sleeping-hypnotization-dream would come to you while obtaining the tacks of the wall’s picture ‘Ouch!’, and the saying that goes as “pinch me, i must be dreaming” becomes a literal thought, you would place the tacks on the bed so once you get hypnotised again the tacks would ‘pinch’ you outta your sleep/dreams… you remove the tacks and jump into bed again but to pretend (this time) before the robot guard opens the gate and Zap you.

It might do not sound that intriguing after all if you haven’t played Feeble Files, but however i always loved games (puzzles) where devs were willing to spare some (extra) production values into puzzle designing, so there are more to the adventure than just the places and locations that are significant; by new artwork, characters and more animations just to add to the sense of reality of (nonlinear) gameplaying ..
like how the classic developers used to do; there were always rooms and locations for more exploration even if they were nonsignificant or even useless to the game’s progress, but they were there to give the adventure that feeling of reality and also a way to create a great atmosphere for more fun puzzles, design, and interactions.
