The Preacher is a shape-shifter. Is there any chance that, at the point the creature attacked in the old man’s hut, the person we thought was Rick actually was the Preacher?

I never got that impression, Becky.  I think we were perceived as dangerous at the beginning.

I initially thought that it was somewhat a cheap trick to suddenly add shapeshifting to the Preacher’s powers but then realized that, as the last Reaper, he had probably acquired extra abilities.

Thank you, LadyK, for a great playthrough.

I think I tossed a thank you in there somewhere, but just in case you missed it, this was a great playthrough. Not sure I am done arguing with the “other” Tim about which of the games was better. We should leave the game pinned for another day or two while everyone gets a chance to vote on which of the three was their favorite.

Once that is done, we are starting into fall. Temps are going to limit outside activity.

Do we want to start another playthrough?

No need to keep arguing. You think this game is better, I think Ravenwood was better. Neither of us is right, neither of us is wrong. Let’s agree to disagree. De gustibus et coloribus non est disputandum. Innocent

Thank you, Lady K, for another great playthrough! Thumbs Up

Thanks Lady K! I enjoyed the evidence board (I think that was in all three of the Enigmatis games) and the puzzles where you collect things and them use them together to create something.

One moment I especially liked in this game was when we focused in on a piece of paper with complicated pictures and instructions and the detective said something like: “This is what happens because men always refuse to stop and ask for directions.”

I finished the bonus chapter & although not necessary to the story it was interesting to see how Britney fitted in before her demise.
I can’t remember the earlier games well enough to decide which one of the series I prefer but found all 3 impressive whatever!

Thanks Lady Kestrel for a vey enjoyable playthrough! & also other members for your thoughts!      Smile

You’re very welcome, everyone!  It’s nice to play with such good company.

I also really like the use of the evidence board, Becky, and yes, I thought that comment about the complicated directions was funny as well..

I’ve been thinking about your question. I enjoy the playthroughs a lot. But I haven’t had time to play casual games lately, partly because of time spent with the new addition to my extended family, and partly because so many adventure games are now releasing, and I’ve been playing those when I do have time.

I want to keep playing casuals. I just have to figure out how to find the time.

I don’t know whether than means I’m interested, or no, I’m not.

So, I will take it as a no. And that is perfectly understandable considering the new family addition.

I’ll probably wait for another few weeks and then test the waters.

Most of the playthrough games we play are older games. Which makes sense because that increases the likelihood that more potential playthrough players will have played them.

The exception being our latest playthrough.

We’ll see how it goes when the subject comes up.

That sounds great. Right now I am in the middle of getting things ready for winter but should be winding down in a few weeks.
