A mysterious sketchbook was found in the town of Sveti Kotar. It contains ten sketches drawn by an unknown author…

“Memories from the cradle…”

“My worshipers…”

“Mother…”

“Flesh for us, souls for Them…”

Hi Advie, we didn’t get you wrong, no problem Smile

We feel there’s no point to bump this thread only when we have new screenshots, videos or other things strictly related to the game. In fact, players will be able to find the sketchbook in game (as an item), uncovering its origin and meaning. So, it’s not an unimportant thing after all.

As for the stage of development, we added a post here 15 days ago when we mentioned our plan. Probably you didn’t see it, being at the end of page 2, but here’s a quote: “The exact date of the demo release (and KS campaign) is not decided yet, and we’ll have to wait until the end of September or beginning of October for that to happen.

For further questions and comments we are always here, ready to help, answer and explain Smile

Main thing is to get the preparations right. Game dev business is hard enough on its own, let alone on the mountainous Balkans, hehe… I’ve been following the development for a while, those final graphics are great, really love it!

Thanks for the kind words! Smile And yes, you’re right, it’s hard to develop games in a country like Croatia, without any government support and with the game industry still in early stages of development. But hard work and commitment can get you anywhere, and with the support from backers on the upcoming Kickstarter campaign we’re sure this project will become reality.

By the way, your project looks very interesting! Nice work Smile

Government support is such an exotic request that I don’t even think about it anymore; I am more modest - if government at least doesn’t bother you too much, it’s already a plus Smile True, love and dedication can get you places.

Thanks, we try to do deliver the best we can Smile

Thanks for the support, it means everything to us! Smile In a few weeks we’ll have more info about when the playable demo could be available, but we won’t rush it though, as it’s an important element that will show the look and feel of the full game.

Stay tuned Wink

Our newest blog post (link: http://www.tanaisgames.com/blog-post/crafting-the-official-cover) explains the crafting process of the official Saint Kotar cover and uncovers some new details about the playable demo of the game!

In short about the playable demo:

- Saint Kotar: the Awakening (working title for the demo) will be a portion of the full game, free of charge, that will show how the final product will look, sound and play like.

- Covering the beginning of the full game, the demo features two playable and five non-playable characters, ten scenes, a few original music themes, a dozen of sound and visual effects, and voice overs for all characters.

- On average, it will be up to 30 minutes long, dependable on the player’s style of play.

- a limited number of newsletter subscribers will get the chance to play a beta version of the demo before the official release. So, if you are still not a part of Saint Kotar’s growing community, subscribe now and get the chance to play it a few weeks earlier.

Cheers Smile
