Today, we have a Cryo’s Lost Eden, that was bad-mouthed (or not?) as Dune with dinosaurs at the time of the release. Lost Eden marked the switch in Cryo’s game design philosophy - from action to adventure, that would be looked upon in years after it. Just like the beautiful graphics and fabulous soundtrack bringing the vibe of Mike Oldfield works with unusual vocal effects.

Even though Lost Eden is almost 100% a true adventure game in a quest to return the “confidence, which has once existed between Men and Dinosaurs”, it wasn’t still what you can call a “pure” Cryo adventure style - mainly because you had a party following you, and an unusual overhead map in the style of a strategy game.

I’m surprised to see this as a hybrid, I always considered it a full AG.

I played about 80% of this and then hit a game-breaking bug. I quite liked it, and should get back to it again someday.

It’s definitely a step up from the insanely difficult KGB / Conspiracy.

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
