QUIZ: “Quest for the Best” [ENDED]
So far, so good, Diego! [knocks wood] It had turned over to sleet and freezing rain for a couple of hours, but now it’s back to heavy wet snow and strong winds. The back yard has nearly clear spots in some places and 2-foot drifts in others. My neighbors cleared my driveway of nearly a foot of snow and slush about an hour ago, and it already has a couple of inches on it.

Kudos to chrissie and Lady K—those “Look What I Found” combos are tough!

Thanks Becky! but it is ‘slave labour’/‘labour of love’? for just 2 points a time!
Hey DarkEye, I’m a little confused about the “Listen Very Carefully” puzzle.
The instructions say: “Listen carefully all voiced dialogues and try to guess who the main character is”. So are we guessing who the main character of the whole game is (like George Stobbart in Broken Sword as an example), or the person whose voice we listened to?

Yes, we’re (you’re) guessing who the main character of the whole game is. That example is fine.
Behold, first player with perfect score for Listen Very Carefully puzzle!
Yay, Chrissie! I’m finding that one the most difficult of the 3 sections, so good for you!
By the way, it’s sunny and 48 degrees F. (just under 10 C.) today, and the snow and ice are slowly melting.

Thanks Lady Kestrel! - I thought I would find it the most difficult too but surprisingly not so & very enjoyable as well as enlightening/interesting! On the other hand I’m struggling so far with the anagrams that usually I get on with a lot better!!!

That is wonderful! & it’s also been about that temp in my part of the UK for the last 2 days & it’s much more comfortable!
Your temps are generally more moderate than ours. Last week we were down to 10 degrees F. (approx. -7 C.). London is damp in Jan. but not usually very cold. Also, the summers I’ve been there, it once topped out at 85 F. (around 28 C.) but the nights, at least in Essex where I stayed, were cool.
Back on subject, those inventory/screenshot matches are slow in coming. My cold is better today, so maybe my memory will come back online again.

It looks like “hey look what I found” puzzle is even harder than I thought it will be.
Still unguessed items:
Edit: No requests for extending, so deadline remains as it was: Wednesday, 3. February 2016, 22.00 CET!
I think the deadline is good the way it stands, DarkEye. Sorry I didn’t respond sooner.
