So, Obduction trailer was released, and to honor it - here’s a scene from Myst III: Exile, my favorite Myst I’ve never played!

Is it because of the screenshot quality, or did this game not look as crisp as Riven?

It used 360° nodes rather than static images (as Riven did), which did make it blurrier due to the technology of the time.

It used 360° nodes rather than static images (as Riven did), which did make it blurrier due to the technology of the time.

Yeah, it used an upgraded engine that was used in The Journeyman Project 3, by the same developers (Presto Studios).
