Congrats from the launch Blackthorne. As I’ve not followed this, is this also a RPG/adventure hybrid or just a regular adventure?

This game is a traditional adventure game, as opposed the the RPG/Adventure Hybrid QFI was.  You do play as a bard, and you can use your lute to play songs that interact with the world, though.  There’s an easy mode and a hard mode - in the hard mode, you have to “play” the frets on the lute in patterns to activate the song.

Looks great Bt. I really enjoyed QFI even though I’m not a big fan of RPGs, so this should be a blast.

Will you be selling each game in the series separately, or will there be an option in the future to purchase the series as a whole?

Thanks Oscar, Tomimt, nomadsoul, Mike the Wino & zane!

Each game will be sold separately, but there will probably be a bundle version with all of them once the cycle is done.

We have four games planned - the first three games all feature a different protagonist: in “The King’s Challenge” you play as Finn, the Bard.  In “Fortress of Fire” you play as a young squire named Patrick.  And in “The Monk on the Mountain” you play as Ciara, a young student monk.  In the fourth game, you choose your protagonist from the previous three games, and each character has different abilities and thus paths in the last game.

All the games take place in the mystical world of Uir, and in a different part.

Thanks for the additional info, Bt!

How long do you anticipate each game will be, gameplay wise? Two to three hours, five, ten?

You know, it really may vary - people seem to be clocking in TKC around 3 hours (5 with some exploration and all the exposition bits).  Fortress of Fire I think will be longer by nature - though I never know what we might have to excise during production due to budget, etc.  I’d say between 3-5 hours for each game, at least.  Never anything under that.
