Lots of sidekicks in adventure games but not many human ones. All kinds of animals, from the owl to the platypus to spotsie. There are ethereal sidekicks, such as ghost Joey and my favorite Dalboz, who takes the form of a lantern. Or even cuddly toy Harvey. Then there are non-human robots like chatterbox Arthur and bureaucrat Oscar. But wouldn’t it be an insult to label Nico as a sidekick to George? Of course it would.

This is Henri. From a poor, blind, crippled beggar wounded in the service of his country to the sarcastic manservant of naïve, eager ensign Geoffroi Le Brun in Touché: The Adventures of the Fifth Musketeer. Henri is a bit of a coward and a source of much needed info for his master. He loves puns and is also perpetually hungry.

I WILL START THE UNOFFICIAL PLAYTHROUGH OF TOUCHE AS SOON AS IT’S ON GOG!!!

Grin Seriously, a hidden gem. I hope more players to hear and play it. There’s nothing spectacular about it, it’s basically “Monkey Island with musketeers”, a lot of repetitive character models and re-used locations (it would seem that every forge in Renaissance France looked exactly the same), but it’s charming enough.

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

I will start the unofficial playthrough of Touche as soon as it’s on GOG.

What’s wrong with ScummVM?

Or you can start a vote and wait until 2025.

Nothing, but I still think some players will rather pay $5 once it’s on GOG, than $500 now! Money Mouth

Yeah, around the same time your quiz will see the light of day!

Ah, Henri. One of the most useless, yet absolutely hilarious sidekicks in history.

-What a fine old church!
-Yes, fascinating. And look, there’s a fascinating tavern…
-You are hungry - AGAIN?!
-Look, we’ve refreshed the spirit, but the body needs sustenance too.

Who owns the IP anyway?

And I’ll never get what’s the point in respecting someone’s decision to let some valuable works of art to rot by restraining yourself in bringing them a new life.
