I forgot to distinguish static and free roaming types.
Static ones (Dynamix, Callahan, Dune, KGB…) are true delight to play, no objections there.

Boy, I played that game on the Amiga way back when. Not too bad at the time. One of the Amiga’s better games if I recall correctly.

Yes, me also! It was huge back then, it felt like a four full games merged into one - Ancient Egypt, alchemist in the Medieval cemetery, Jack the Ripper’s London and modern infested mine. Great graphics and atmosphere, but too many disk changing.

I remember I couldn’t start the PC version for a long time, because a copy protection instructions were written into .txt file, but they had to be superimposed on a codewheel, like this one:


Boy, that was probably the first game I wished that I could have bought legally and not from a local pirate.
