I’m not sure why so many people that vote in the semifinals skip these matches?

Well, I’m deciding not to vote mainly because in a tournament system such as this, the only placement that is “authentic” or “fair” is #1. Because the #1 game may have theoretically dropped the true #2 game on the first round, while the #2 game now might have lost to something else many rounds sooner.

Also, I’m not voting because I’m not 100% sure what to vote (Well, okay, the second one between BS and MI is pretty obvious, and I guess I’d have a choice for the first match, too…)

Yes, well, in many ways they are not

Though of course they do matter more in stuff like sports tournaments. But I think there is a difference between, say, sports and voting. I just can’t easily explain what it is

But of course this is all just for fun and so I don’t have anything against the idea of doing these placements And, should Gabriel Knight come up, I will naturally defend it viciously by voting for it every chance I get

Broken Sword is not among my favourite series, but MI1 got a bit too obsolete for my standards, so, even if it is still the most funny in this group, I pick the most equilibrate experience. MI2 is just a masterpiece, so no doubt about that one.
