Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within
Gameplay flows so well, story is great, and like all the best Jane Jensen games, it has a natural feel to it that doesn’t make it feel gamey.

I’m very sad I don’t see Blackwell Epiphany here. I don’t really care which GK wins as they are both great 5 star games. And it’s been too long since I played MI to weigh it againts KQ that I just briefly tried just as long ago.

And here we are again with an impossible choice 
Comparing GK1 and GK2 is like apples and oranges and they’re both great and timeless in their own way.
The Secret of Monkey island again is paired with a game it can easily beat, so that’s a free ride into the next round.

Aw, geeze. Now I have to vote GK vs GK. Oh well:
1) Gabriel Knight 2 - of two brilliant games, GK2 breaks the mold a little bit more (though for its time I’m sure GK1 was even more revolutionary). It also lacks the one or two way-too-demanding puzzle(s?) of GK1. As you can see from my quote up there (:P) I love the way the game flows and how the gameplay and everything are integrated together, even if it means a few less actual puzzles. So, GK2 wins by just a teensy bit.
2) No vote, haven’t played KQ VI. I assume that had I played, I would vote for Monkey Island, but I dare not make any assumptions - especially with a game involving Jane Jensen
