I haven’t played Loom (yes, I know yet another must play, I haven’t played), but if I had I’m sure I would have given it at least one point.

Loom and Grim are equally great, but I’m giving crown to Loom for its uniqueness and great use of music. The Walking Dead = not adventure, and I don’t really like Gray Matter that much.

It takes about three hours to finish on a first playthrough. You have six days left. Wink

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka

Turns out TWD dropped out, oh well.

Grey Matter the dudded gem in this group, sad to see it languishing on the bottom of the group. Beautifully atmospheric and well-written, with a great build-up it is Jensen’s second best game to date IMO. Not flawless, but far better than even AG gave it credit for (the star rating was much higher than the tone of the review suggested).

That said, I can’t award anything less than full points to what I consider the single greatest, most imaginative story conceived in gaming (not just adventure gaming either). Grim is immense in every sense of the word. It should win this thing, because its better than everything else. But we’ll see…

My feelings for the TWD have been tainted somewhat by it’s disappointing second season. It tended to leave me frustrated rather than moved. But the first season still warrants a point here.

Duckman: Can you believe it? Five hundred bucks for a parking ticket?
Cornfed Pig: You parked in a handicapped zone.
Duckman: Who cares? Nobody parks there anyway, except for the people who are supposed to park there and, hell, I can outrun them anytime.
