edit: On second thought, that´s not totally fair. I did play Portal, and it didn´t really do it for me. And I actually really liked Botanicula, the frog song made me wanna play it again…

The only game I’ve played here is Portal, and while it is great, I’m ambivalent on whether I consider it a non-traditional adventure or not, so I’m just going to skip this group.
Yeah, yeah, I know many of these are games I should play: they are on my list or even in my library. My particular apologies to Faust which has been sitting on my shelf unplayed for years.
I’m a bit late to the party, but I should be able to get my votes in before the deadline!
This group is surprisingly difficult since there are several games I have played and liked, but they all have completely different merits that are hard to compare. Portal gets the top score because it was ground-breaking and completely blew my mind when I first played it. The sequel is of course excellent, but it didn’t have the same novelty value. It’s also really difficult to compare the modern games from Amanita Design with the classic Discworld 2. I’ll probably have changed my mind tomorrow already, but here goes:
