A possible full list of all Sci-Fi ags set in future with serious and realstic tone
Actually as Sci-fi is a very specific category/genre, that still holds out many different themes of scifi sub-genres ..within, and I am a big/huge fan of Sci-Fi ags, its my number one favorite genre of all and not just at adventure games , but nevertheless not all Sci-Fi ags appeal to me, yet strange as it might sound, I figured out that one can’t always be sure of his/her taste, what you think is your favorite might turn out differently (by time) and vise-versa. Anyways, ‘now’ what I am sure of is; that any ag/story set in an imaginable future, always takes my breath away.
I wanted to compile all ags with that theme of the title and then post it, but then I realized that I won’t be able to gather them all by myself, due to the fact that I have surely missed some , or can’t remember or maybe i do but at just can not determine/put-my-hands-on .

P.S: I try as best to exclude Sci-Fi ags mixed with other categories/themes such as fantasy, humor/comedy, or cartoony (...etc) off of the list.
my favourite is missing Rama (Sierra) (2131)
Nice list.
I’m also a big fan of Sci-Fi of the more serious kind, and have played and enjoyed most, but not all, of the games on that list.
I would also add J.U.L.I.A. Among the Stars to that list. I takes place somewhere in the future and and it most certainly has a serious and realistic tone, in fact it kind of reminds me of The Dig in many ways.
And you should also add Primordia and Rama to the list.
Edit: Ninjaed on Rama.
Edit, Edit: Oh Rama is there, or did you just add it.

To the Moon, by Kheops.
Noctropolis can be added and, though not out until next year, Stasis.

“Going on means going far - Going far means returning”

Chronomaster developed by Roger Zelazny himself sure deserves a spot.
Also Gateway 1-2 by Legend Entertainment are some of the finest sci-fi games out there.

To the Moon is based on the late 19th or early 20th century novel by Jules Verne, in which three people go to the moon but because of an unfortunate accident they have to “pull an Apollo 13;” which means going round the back of the moon and then back to earth. In the adventure the moon is reached though. Quite serious stuff although it all looks a bit nostalgic, being such old science fiction.
I wouldn’t call Innocent Until Caught that serious, nor realistic, either in tone nor execution.
