HALLOWEEN - Week-day Special
Our Princeless Bride Rosella in front of the pumpkin home of the two ghoulish brats in King’s Quest 7. It is often considered one of the weakest KQ games, but I had more fun than with the rest of the series, with the exception of KQ3 and KQ6. I loved Ooga-Booga land. Valanice was a bit too motherly and narrowminded though.
See you around, wolf. Nerissa
Finally someone that doesn’t outright trash KQ7.
It’s my second-favourite of the lot four I’ve played, after KQ6.
I enjoyed the more Disney-like graphics and relaxed gameplay (no dead ends, no reloading upon death, etc.).
That, and I’ve always enjoyed stories where we alternate between different parts until they all come together again in the game’s climax…
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
Agreed! It’s nice to read positive comments on this one. It may not have the strongest story in the series but the art design is fun and memorable. This pumpkin treehouse is one of my favorite locations in the game.
A great choice for Halloween week!
Yes, I agree. I don’t know why people are so negative about KQ7. I have more fun with it than any other KQ game.
I think the reason is that it’s barely a game and closer to a novel. Too much talking and not enough adventuring for my liking, but a well done story all the same.
