Hellblade reviews out
IGN: 9/10
PSLS: 9/10
The sixth axis: 8/10
Push square: 8/10
gamespot 8
Venturebeat: 95/100
Another success in PS4 bag
http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/hellblade-senuas-sacrifice
I thought it will be divisive or bashing but please it turned the favor on its side by tackling some great feats in themes, story and cinematics
Some people who are clueless about the game, my experience from shareplay
- It has best Ninjatheory combat
- No HUD/bars so all the health and combat cues are audio visual in game
- When you are attacked from behind , there are 2 audio clues
- Min 6 hrs (from stream times of good gamers)
- Puzzles are mostly sigil based, think lite Witness
- Incredible sound design
- Top stuff face animations
- has walking sim elements
- Deals heavy subject of Psychosis and tragedy, presented unlike any other game
- Its 30$ so cannot go wrong
Edit
And MC went down to 76 from 84 thanks to Jimmy review giving it 1/10
Game breaking bug

Good morning Morgan
I preordered Hellblade because of the developer track record, happy to see it delivers.
Apparently the game deletes the save file if the player dies too much:

That’s an original mechanic, I like it
Edit: Now I’m reading it might not be true… or knowing is spoiling the game… Now I’m avoiding articles
Glad its back to 80s MC, would have been a bummer if one joke of journo would have spoiled the effort put into this game
He dialed back and now given it 7

Interwoven in story too
To make you feel afraid of a thing which isnt there but you think it is
I don’t have a problem with perma-deaths since I never die in games anyway.
So Valve announced a new game - Artifact - A DOTA card game…
Audience reaction says it all…
Good that many other gamers think alike

AAA devs are such copycats. After Hearthstone’s success, every dev now wants a card game.
Bethesda has The Elder Scrolls: Legends.
EA has a collectible card game in the PVZ universe: Plants vs. Zombies Heroes.
Ubi is working on a Southpark card game.
Project Red has Gwent (though to be fair that is quite different).
And now this?
Activision has this card game: https://www.skylanders.com/video-games/skylanders-battlecast
I was literally going to write, “Activision probably will have a Skylanders card game in the future”, and a quick google gave me that.
It is pretty similar to the MOBA craze of the last couple of years.
Edit:
How did I forget this?

It’s true. Phil is sleeping
Battlefield One is avaiable for EA Access (along with Titanfall 2).
Good service, never understood why Sony never allowed it on Playstation
Yeah its souls combat hit box now, liking the change so far

Both games got for 30$ on sale now forever in your collection
The marginal profit on a shared profit dont make sense to me

I guess then it would compete directly with PS Now. If Sony let EA do this, then Ubi, Squinex, Activision will want to do this, and PS Now will lose a lot of its value.
On a slightly similar note though different entertainment medium, Disney is making their own net streaming service and pulling out of netflix.
MKX outsold witcher and other big hitters that year, now T7 sold 1.6 million while Injustice2 also outsold many biggies too

Fighting genre has some market, T7 already .2million away to beat SFV

The problem is I don’t think PSNow is reaching every country but I think Sony might end up using a subscription service like the new Microsoft one.
The success of other fighting games makes it more incredible how Capcom is failing this generation…

Which countries isn’t PSNow reaching? And I thought PSNow is a subscription service like Netflixm, no? The only difference between the 2 that I am aware of is that with Microsoft’s model, you download the game onto your computer whereas With PSNow, you stream the game from Sony’s servers. Lag should be better with MS’s model as you are accessing locally.
