Damn i hope its not a MS money hat
Which i am getting a feeling it would be , for a short time like Inside
But anyway that train with 2 dudes game i was really interested in

The Brothers team game at least should be on PC, no developer should want to work with Microsoft exclusevily now…
His studio signed a deal for EA to publish their next game so I doubt it’s an exclusive.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Well their loss tbh
If i am going to be the last person to enjoy Prey so be it
But glad its not the case , people giving it time are finding it among the best of best
In reality IGN guy got hit with last hours game corruption bug(PC version)
And rage reviewed it
Bug is patched
IGN or mainstream random nuisance is not happening for the first time

Really professional review
The “best” IGN review is when they gave Football Manager a 2.0 because you couldn’t control the players or something 
Unfortunately these types of bugs have become hallmarks of PC gaming. It’s unfortunate that Prey took the hit, but I think refiewers have been giving devs a free pass for a long time now especially Bethesda’s beta games released to the public (I’m thinking Fallout and Elder Scrolls).

State of journalism ladies and gentlemen
Well let me play devil’s advocate here. Suppose you are in his shoes, a journalist trying to review a game for a deadline and you couldn’t finish said game because of a game stopping bug (twice according to him). How would you rate said product.
I do agree with you though that consistency in scoring would be nice.

Why its deemed necessary to review on deadline?
Ans is revenue
EasyAllies are among best reviewers and rel reviews late
Why he waited 10 days for sim and Wdogs2 that pretty much kills his integrity
Why selective bias against prey?
And Why not have 2 reviewers rating it different on each platform
And if it was my job i would have been more professional to atleast check other PC copies out on youtube
Heck even that 10 min speedrun is PC one
Bugs are there in most games, recently my pal lost Dishonored 2 save
he replayed and it played fine
I finished same copy
Many lost on Skyrim and Fallout games, quest breaking to NPC disappearing bugs in 100 hrs game…
Not to mention Ubi shitty games
