Rec adv games about a great secret or conspiracy
I want you to help me find adventure games where the protagonist(or an important character) discovers a great secret or conspiracy, and is doing something because of it( for example trying to know more about it or trying to prevent it). I know this may be pretty vague but these are the types of plots which I’m searching for in an adventure game.
Games that I played and liked:
The Longest Journey ( played Dreamfall too, but wasn’t that interesting as the prequel)
The Whispered World
Overclocked: A History of Violence
Resonance
Sanitarium (was confusing, but it corresponded to the things I’m searching for)
A New Beginning
Indigo Prophecy
Heavy Rain (it’s more like of a crime game, but thrilling)
L.A. Noire
Not played it, but it’s on my schedule: I read that Gabriel Knight trilogy is alike the games I’m searching for.
As you can see any theme and setting are welcome, also recommending not-so-popular games is a plus too.
