I’m a gamer too, my gfx card 4 years old and still runs latest games on top settings. I wouldn’t buy latest tech anymore, not much benefit for the cost over 1-2 year old tech.

850 euro? You could easily build a budget desktop PC for less than half that.

I have no room for a desktop pc, and I’m a gamer, so it needs to be a budget gaming laptop. That puts it in that price range if you still want something decent.

850 is steep
Last time i checked blackfriday deals from US , best gaming laptop was around 500 to 700$
Do you have any relative who can bring cheap for you??

Plus high end games still sux at laptop

You know, sometimes I start to feel that the internet isn’t what it used to be, but then I see the old “Dude, you can totally build a top spec gaming desktop/laptop for $250 tops” conversation and I feel safe and comfortable again! Wink

BadgerBadgerBadger anyone?!

LOL, yes I felt the same when I read that.
I also read this interesting piece about Hackintoshes today on Ars. If Apple continues the way it’s operating now I will have to build one too in a few years.

It’s what I have to work with. Anything cheaper is going to be crap.

That include 17” screen as well? I’m not willing to go smaller. Larger keyboard size alone is worth it.
Prices are easily double here. Just getting the specs I really want would put it in the 1300 Euro ballpark and that still wouldn’t be anywhere near top of the line. Importing poses difficulties, even without the power connector differences. Importing means that no store or repair shop here is going to touch it if something breaks. “Buy here or F off” mentality. Frown

Fortunately I’m running a couple of years behind on the backlog so that’s not an issue. Tongue

He should have taken that 50 shades of Grey gig Smile
How do you spend so much money in a King Arthur movie? Seems like only Disney and Comic books bring money in the US market now. Worldwide audience loves Vin and the Rock

yeah, Moore is long time survivor, i remember rumors of his death started coming more than 20 years ago, but he had lived long more than anyone would have expected with his long-time case of cancer. a great story of surviving, yea, RIP R.Moore Cry
