Here’s another shot from an old text adventure called Dungeon Quest (1989) featuring what is probably the most popular recurring character in adventure game history. I wonder how many games we could think of with him in it?

A funny Charon appears in Zork GI and a historical one in Wrath of the Gods. I’m sure there are more.

Charon was a recurring character even inside King’s Quest series. He was featured in King’s Quest II, VI and Mask of Eternity.
