Sooo…
Does anyone exactly know why we never got a Secrets of Atlantis 2? Secrets of Atlantis 1 was great. It looked wonderful, it was adequately written and and it had nice gameplay to boot and yet… it never got the sequel it so deserved. I’ve been searching for the answer to this question for some time but nowhere on the internet is there any mention of what happened to the proposed sequel. It’s almost like they thought “hey let’s end on this big epic cliffhanger and then never finish the story! That’ll keep the fans guessing for years to come”
So does anyone know what happened to this project?
Most likely it just didn’t sell enough.
Wasn’t the first one Atlantis 5 in all but name.
Could have been sales or it could be the fact the people had enough of Atlantis and had moved to Egypt or Dracula games.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.
