Famous Five: Treasure Island (1999) is the first of a series of games geared towards younger gamers that is actually rather similar to the TKKG games in that you control a group of four kids and a dog as you uncover various mysteries and solve them.

It’s based on a popular series of novels (21 of them) written in the mid 20th century and like TKKG as well has been made into films and television series. There are 6 adventure games that I know of, 5 of the point and click variety from the series the above screenshot was taken from as well as an old text adventure.

The game looks nice and the voice acting isn’t too bad, but the gameplay was a bit tedious at times, a trait common to kid oriented adventure games in my experience.
