Giving away my old adventure games
Thanks all
Thanks all
Thanks all
Those are some nice games that you are giving away. I have most of them, but, I just want to say PLEASE don’t put them in the garbage if you don’t want them. Please donate them to Salvation Army or Goodwill or something. Someone would sure enjoy having some of those Sierra games. Course, they would be cursing you and the store they bought it in if they tried to get Master Lu to work!
I would love a boxed version of GK1. I’ve played that game twice from GOG, but a boxed copy would be something special.

Some of the boxed ones in the top post could probably be worth a bit of money. I’d feel a little bad for taking one from you for free. Then again, maybe Ebay is just full of overpriced items that never actually get sold.
Assuming you’re willing to go through the trouble of shipping overseas, I’d love to get Codename: Iceman, Eco Quest, Heart of China or Fable.
At the very least, you could probably unload them on Craigslist pretty quick and make a buck.
Just to check it out, I looked at the ebay prices for Codename: Iceman and Blade Runner. Codename: Iceman does not fetch high prices even boxed, unless it is sealed or perhaps in very new condition. There was a boxed copy that didn’t even sell because the starting bid was $9.99. Blade Runner also does not go for much money.
I have the Quest for Glory Collection sitting right here. I wish I’d played through them and sold it a few years ago because I think it went for $100 at that time. Now that the games are available on GOG the price plummeted. Let this be a lesson to you - if you have old valuable games, sell them now before they get re-released on GOG!
I’d want more of these if, no one else wants them.
I’ll take
Quest for Glory Collection - With Dragonfire Soundtrack!
Discworld Noir
Operation Stealth
- Grim Fandango
- Monkey Island 1 + 2
- Police Quest Collection
I do feel a bit greedy though.
Thanks!

That is very generous of you. I don’t think I’d have strength to give up such treasures.
I would like any of the following.
-Blade runner (I REALLY want to play this.)
-Discworld Noir
-Beyond Good and Evil
-Quest for Glory 2
But any (or even none would be fine). I should disclose I’m also in Australia so postage may be a little more but of course I am happy to cover it.
Thanks.
I would like:
- Ultima 7 Complete
- Ultima 9 Ascension
- Ultima Collection
- Privateer 2
- William Shatners Tekwar
If you still have them. PM me with your info for paypal etc.
I tried but apparently there is a delay before I can PM lol.
Thanks for the responses folks.
Harald - Codename Iceman, Eco Quest, Heart of China, & Fable.
Speedbo - QFG collection, Operation Stealth, Grim Fandango, Monkey Island, Police Quest collection.

Yeah, I had a quick look on Ebay when I sorted through them all. I think the first one I saw was the sealed Iceman for $100; some others were hit and miss… but a few that might have gone for $20-50. But rather than go to the effort of listing them all and hoping a few sell; I figure it’d just be easier to give as many away as I can… at least then I know they go to good homes.
I remember the QFG collection went for $150 at one stage, and I wanted to hold onto it. Same with Kilrathi Saga… there was a time where that went for $350 on Ebay; but I treasured it too much at the time… funny how we change!
I’ve always wanted to try out the Wing Commander games
So if no one else wants them, put me down for:
- Wing Commander IV DVD Version
- Wing Commander Kilrathi Saga
And
- Pitfall Mayan Adventure
Thanks again

Hi,
I will take Space Quest collection, GK 1, Riddle of Master Lu. If nobody else takes them, maybe QG 4 and Hand of Fate. I’m in Aus, so hoping they fit in a flat rate satchel. Thanks for the nice offer!
The real problem with reality is the lack of background music.

I often buy old games from Ebay and I’m so used to including shipping and handling from the US into the actual “value” of the game that I suppose I often overestimate what they’re worth to a potential seller. I’ve been looking at a copy of Fable for $30+shipping that keeps getting relisted for months now, waiting for the seller to lower the price and they never do. Looks like they’ll never get rid of it now!
