Which classic is beyond reproach?

Inspired by the confessions thread. Check all games that you’d be amazed to hear an AG fan didn’t like.
Try to ignore issues like remakes - pick your preferred version and pretend that’s what I typed.
Since this board doesn’t support multiple-choice polls, here’s the link:

Is it bad that I wouldn’t pick any of those on that poll?

I considered adding a “none” option but was sure the options were different enough for everyone to have something to choose. Apparently that was misguided. Added it now.

Don’t get me wrong; there are some absolutely fantastic games on that list, but I can see why some people wouldn’t like any given game.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is my golden age classic that is beyond reproach.  Though Monkey Island 2 comes damn close.  I’ll vote for that.  Wink

Sam and Max Hit The Road.  Absolutely, 100% beyond reproach.

I think Monkey Island 2 sags a bit in the middle, but The Secret of Monkey Island is just goddamn perfect.

I voted for everything except Simon the Sorcerer and Neverhood, both which I haven’t completed yet. Hey, I liked them all Smile But seriously, depending on individual taste, I can see someone not liking any of those games for some reason or another.

Riven and Grim Fandango. Of course none of them are in the list. Wink

What a strange list….If we were to choose a classic from this list, then I would expect at least all the TOP 10 games from AG Top 100, but ok.

I chose Broken Sword, as we can’t choose Grim, Gabriel Knight 2 or even The Longest Journey! (for shame)

Possibly one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make today so far, but I had to go with Syberia.

None, but Day of the Tentacle comes pretty close.
Also Grim and TLJ are missing there, and maybe Neverhood and Simon don’t really belong.
