The frog in the Santa suit would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas from Down in the Dumps (1996), a game about some tiny little aliens that crash land in a garbage dump on Earth and have to navigate the monstrous environments to find parts to repair their ship with.

It’s a comedic, inventory puzzle based game with some rather unique and bizarre graphics. I thought it was decent except for the ending, which is a timed affair requiring that you switch between all 6 characters in the game to complete the final task. Perhaps the developers knew the ending wasn’t that good considering they hid it in the menu and many people never played it because they didn’t notice it even existed. For the record, you have to manually select the final episode from the menu after the game ends. It won’t appear before then.
