but i never understood the term of resurrection a thread .. i wanted to post something about her and this (i thought) would be the right place? and apart of resurrecting something thats already there , lets just call it renewing the/my love for her; even if everybody had seen it, but me .
Forgive me for saying so, but the “Lovely” RW looks rather dowdy to me in her flowered print house dress.
Maybe you find her more appealing without the dress? (I wouldn’t blame you! 
)
Advice take my advice, send her some chocolates and roses, that always works with women. You could also try a poem like my “Ode to Roberta”

i wonder if shes even aware of the numbers of remakes that made for her (games) within the last several years ......or maybe she hasn’t an Internet on her Husband’s Yacht

this issue is taking too much whenever and everytime her name occur anywhere .....so why would not we cut it short and just say RW the Adventure Designer Porn star!.

Shame they went for 3D graphics, even though the majority of the voters in their poll voted that they wanted a 2D remake. I’ll give it a go nonetheless, as KQ4 is one of the few KQ’s I never completed.

KQ4 is one of my favorite adventure games ever. I enjoy replaying this game more than most adventure games. Love the wide open, explorable world, the text parser, the light-hearted feel and the wide variety of fantasy settings. I like the tone of this game more than the sometimes self-serious, pretentious KQ6. People always praise Jensen for what she brought to KQ6, but I wish Josh Mandel had been brought in as co-designer for KQ6, instead, since I loved what he did with the KQ1 EGA remake, which felt more like a traditional KQ to me.
Anyway, I hope this remake captures the KQ4 spirit. I’m also not pleased about the 3D art. Wish they had gone with hi-res 2D, but I guess that would have been too time consuming. Will be trying it out this week. Am on phone now and won’t be at a computer for several days. :-(

Hi res 2D looks awful. Just look at the Monkey Island remakes. These screens look great. I don’t think I have seen better HD graphics on a remake, even though I think using the KQV graphics style would have fitted better.

By that I anounce every painting ever made as awful.
Some of the Monkey Island 1 remake backgrounds looked bad, because it was rushed job, MI2 looks much better, I liked it better than the original pixel version, though the original looks fantastic as well.

I agree. I also liked the pixel version, but agree that the remake was a big improvement. That was a faithful remake done the right way, IMO. The only thing I didn’t like was some of character art, particularly in some close-ups.

Only if the painting itself is awful. Though I agree that the MI1 remake didn’t look very good, the MI2 remake looked quite nice, but none of them are good examples of goodlooking Hi res 2D if you ask me. Can you honestly say that the backgrounds of such games as A Vampire Story or Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island looked awful? If so, then you are hereby excommunicated from the Ist Church of 2D-hi-res-background-evaluation

You have a point. The reason I say most 2D HD remakes look terrible and are always worse is because they don’t have their own style, and they trace the originals with too few changes. That’s what MI1 did, and MI2 was better because it tried to do its own thing more, although not enough in my opinion.
Remakes shouldn’t feel the need to replicate every screen from every angle. They need to realize they are different games, and people who loved the original aren’t going to hate the remake because it changes a few things any more than they are going to love it because it copies things exactly.
The portraits on that KQIV game are the most terrifying images I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen “Salo”. Seriously, it’s like Shrek mated with Uncanny Valley itself to spew those hellspawn into existence.
