Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Saturday 23 November 2013

Access Software is most well known for its Tex Murphy games, but they made some other games in the same deliberately campy style such as Amazon: Guardians of Eden (1992). I can’t remember the gameplay specifically, but I enjoyed the humor, movie references and grisly death scenes.

This was by far my favorite Access game. Tex Murphy simply can’t compete.

A warning to death scene haters however - stay far away.

Not that I am aware of. I loaded some saved games to check and didn’t see a flashlight in my inventory at any point either. It’s been a long time since I’ve played it though…

Charming picture but those graphics were a couple years behind in 92.
