Symbiocom (1998) (a.k.a. Syn-Factor) is a science fiction/cyberpunk game that starts you out on a ship whose passengers have all disappeared after an attack by two mysterious spaceships, leaving you and your AI brain implant to unravel the mystery of what has happened.

I have this game and have been meaning to play it for a long time.  Did you like it?

Sounds a lot like Mission Critical. Is it?

It’s hard for me give much of an opinion because of my dislike for futuristic settings. A game that takes place on a spaceship is something I dislike before I have even played it. I only forced my way through it because it was an obscure game. If I try to ignore my bias, I would say that it was a mediocre indie game. The story was probably the strong point.

I don’t know as I haven’t played Mission Critical due to my dislike for the setting. I probably should play it some day though as I really like Legend’s other games.
