Why do you see that as problematic?

If you don’t see it, then there’s nothing I can do to explain it.

Regardless, even thought I voted for it, it’s probably inappropriate for me to join now.

Can’t do that Advie just in case there aren’t any next time!  Laughing

I can’t think of any reason it would be inappropriate for you to join the playthrough &  you’re most welcome to do so.
We’ve only just started Chapter 1 so there is just the very short intro to catch up with first.

We tried and we will try again.

I will offer to lead it again. But I won’t nominate it again.

I just wanted to say that the current playthrough is still running & it would be nice for it to remain stickied for a little longer as there are still 2 players actively playing.

But, there’s no reason meanwhile not to be nominating games for a new playthrough. I’m not hosting the voting this time as apart from being offline for a few weeks I don’t want again to be on the receiving end of petty arguments!    Smile

As this is likely directed at me, I will relieve the stress. I have no intention of participating in this, or any future playthrough. In fact I’m winding down any participation save the Casual Games thread. And that, itself is a little iffy due to the lack of any recent participation. And, with all of that, I can’t really justify monthly Patron contributions. So, I’m pretty much saying good bye to the forum. It’s been a good run.

You have to be pretty thick skinned on this forum. Rock throwing is the number one hobby on this site.

The only way to avoid the rocks is to do nothing, and there are people who don’t want that. Us doers have to stick together!

I have your back Chrissie, and so do others!

I would like to nominate:

The Last Window - Mike Kelly (leader)
Unavowed - Mikekelly (leader)

It’s because The Last Window and The Unavowed were both Adventure Game of the Year and both deserved the wins.

Jenny LeClue - Mikekelly (leader)

Jenny LeClue has stellar reviews (4.5 on this site) and I bet will be winning some major awards also - and well deserved wins too. Kinda reminds me of Kathy Rain…..

I’ll nominate the games I voted for last time:

The Last Crown
Lighthouse
Memoria
Tormentum

rtrooney, I hope you’ll change your mind and stick around.
And if Lighthouse wins I hope you’ll be willing to lead it.

=================================================

EDIT—Yes, I’ll keep The “Last” Crown typo.
But I want to nominate “The “Lost” Crown” (from 2008) too. Wink

I’ll nominate the games I voted for last time:

The Last Crown

Thumbs Up

I’m in. If we all vote for a Last Crown playthrough maybe John Boakes will have some extra incentive to finally complete it?

I’d love to cast a vote for Last Window, a very worthy nomination, but alas you still need a DS to play it on.
So I’ll vote for Jenny LeClue, Lighthouse & Tormentum.

The Last Crown! - how long do you think the voting thread’s open for?  Laughing

BTW MikeKelly - thank you Thumbs Up

I meant The Lost Crown,
but sure, if it helps I’ll vote for The Last Crown too.  Wink

I’ll keep the tally this time.  Give me a few minutes to sort things out.

Not only did I fall off the diet wagon, I dragged it into the woods, set it on fire, and used the insurance money to buy cupcakes.
