I can add that most modern games have subtitles.

Most ‘90s ones did too.
Although some of them had you choosing between EITHER voice OR text instead. But still, MOST offered both.

Maybe check out the Ecoquest games from Sierra if you don’t mind pixellated graphics. They’re childrens games, so they’re very easy, but are still quality games and the language should be reasonably easy to understand.

Edit: now that I think of it, that was a bad suggestion, as there are no voices in those games, and hearing the language is one of the most important aspects of learning it Gasp

And most games even just 10 years old, doesn’t have subtitles in the cutscenes, something that has always annoyed me. Anyway finding games with subtitles isn’t difficult.
