Dreamfall Starforce Issue
I installed Dreamfall after not playing it for years and it install ok ran it and it said I needed additional libraries installed on my computer so I clicked yes restarted but my pc failed to start-up and had to repair itself!!! Not good!!! then I updated the protection drivers now I get another error code 577, this is so frustrating why do games companies do this to us gamers all I want to do is play the damn game!!! Microsoft compatibility does nothing!!! troubleshoot is a waste of space so I thought I’d ask the best people on the planet Adventure Gamers

Malaclypse is a NUT!
Nathan Drake is a Babe!
My favourite method when I want to replay games from 5-or-so years ago:
1. Put the game on your Steam or GOG wishlist.
2. Wait until it goes on sale, which happens regularly.
3. Buy it for $5.
4. Throw away that old physical copy and its obnoxious copy protection system.
5. Play the game, happy to have saved yourself a lot of time and aggravation.
Recently finished: Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse (R) (4/5) | Detective Di (3.5/5) | Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations (R) (4.5/5) | Heaven’s Vault (3/5) | Ace Attorney: Justice For All (R) (3.5/5) | Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (R) (4.5/5) | Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space (R) (4.5/5) | The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker (abandoned) (2/5) | Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (3.5/5) | The Sexy Brutale (R) (4/5)
That happened to me the last time I played it.
IT’s because Starforce isn’t compatible with newer versions of windows.
I ended up using a No-CD crack to play it.
Buying a non DRM version on GOG or Steam is the only other option.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.
