Hello! I need recommendations on these kind of games. One played so far was Bad Mojo. Any others?

Bad Mojo is pretty unique. Anyway, from the top of my head, you can try 80 Days

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

Depends on what you mean “exploration”. If you mean a game that follows the logic “explore every location first - solve riddles afterwards”, I’d say that Riven should be on the top of the list(though very different from Bad Mojo).

Keepsake has a rather high emphasis on exploring the school, not to mention finding your way around the damn place.

As I recall the Lost Crown also have quite a bit of places you need to explore.

Though I’m not sure I would call either outright exploration games, but as diego said, it depends a bit on what you mean by exploring?

As diego said, nothing quite like Bad Mojo. There are some games which give you more freedom than many. Of course, that won’t mean you’ll automatically like them.

Morpheus
Miasmata
Amnesia=The Dark Descent
The Experiment
A Quiet Weekend at Capri
Portal (1986)

Any of the Zork or Enchanter games should do.

Edit: Forgot one: Return to Mysterious Island 1 and 2. Actually all of the Kheops games were good for exploration, with multiple puzzle solutions and flexible paths.

Miasmata definitely comes to mind. You even need to make the map of the island in-game by spotting landmarks…

Edit: and Zifnab sniped me on that one… Tongue

Off the top of my head I can’t really think of many that fit that description, but Return to Mysterious Island is one I’d say fits the bill pretty well.

Else… I don’t know, Dear Esther? All you do in that game is explore, but I don’t know if it’s the sort of exploration you’re looking for Tongue

I would put Fez on this list because there are puzzles that diverge from the main objective of the game (finding cubes) that’s weaved into a greater narrative. These puzzles are different to say, Limbo, because they are not solved in order to access a previously out-of-reach platform but are implemented as a way for the player to uncover the lore and secrets of the game’s world. GoG had the game for 4.99 a few weeks ago - I think all adventure gamers should check it out.
