Screen 7 offers up with a variety of retro style (and other) games although not all might be suitable for all ages.

I agree with all posts regarding playing the old Sierra and Lucas Arts games of the past. You can’t go wrong. However if you are looking for some other new old school graphics games you might be interested in picking up the Ben Jordan games. There are 8 of them, and they are also free. The last 3 ones in the series are particularly good.

Anticipating:The Devil’s Men

Recently played:GK1 Remake (4), A Golden Wake (3), Child of Light (4) Memento Mori 2 (4) Face Noir (3.5) Tex Murphy: Tesla Effect (4) Blackwell Epiphany (4.5),Broken Sword 5(4.5), The Shivah Remake (4.5), Monkey Island 2 Remake (4.5)

Top 10 Adventure Games:Tex Murphy: Pandora Directive, Gabriel Knight:The Beast Within, Broken Sword:Shadow of the Templars, Gabriel Knight:Sins of the Fathers, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon, Lost Horizon, Grim Fandago, The Longest Journey, Blackwell Epiphany

As for more recent retro-styled adventures, you might want to try:

Ben There, Dan That (free) and its sequel Time Gentlemen, Please! Two very funny games filled to the brim with unique monologues and dialogues for every item combination you can think of and the humour is quite irreverent. http://www.sizefivegames.com/games/tgp/

Metal Dead, an adventure set in a zombie apocalypse, but opting for a humourous take on it. http://www.walkthruwalls.com/

And there’s of course a veritable boatload of free games to try, but I’m not quite at home in that area, so no recommendations from me.

Hello,

If you like the adventure games, retro style, like of the 80s and early 90s, the golden age of adventures games, try my free demo “99 Species” ;-)
