With the Asylum Kickstarter ending in 24 hours, I guess it’s as good a time as any to have a scene from Scratches.

Currently playing:
Recently finished: Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse (R) (4/5) | Detective Di (3.5/5) | Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations (R) (4.5/5) | Heaven’s Vault (3/5) | Ace Attorney: Justice For All (R) (3.5/5) | Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (R) (4.5/5) | Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space (R) (4.5/5) | The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker (abandoned) (2/5) | Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (3.5/5) | The Sexy Brutale (R) (4/5)

What exactly is the difference between Scratches and the Scratches Director’s Cut?
And am I correct if I state that Scratches is a horror game because of the atmosphere, but not because your character is ever in any danger?

Just asking with a possible future purchase in mind…

Now playing: Blade Runner (post-CPT) | The Witcher: Enhance Edition (on hold) | Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (on hold) | Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy (3DS)

The Director’s Cut touches up some graphics, adds a journal for the characters, improves the interface, and has the possibility of triggering an “alternate” ending.

There is also a bonus playable chapter that you can play after beating the game.

It’s a great game. You should get it, TimovieMan! It’s a horror based on pretty much everything. You can’t die, but there is danger. After all you’re in a large manor by yourself. Wink

You can’t die, but there is danger.

Doesn’t sound like there is danger, but merely the appearance of danger.
Since that’s the kind of danger I prefer, I might bump this on my list of games to play… Tongue

There is more than one kind of danger. Namely, not all danger is necessarily mortal. Some might threaten other aspects of your existence. Wink
