Are There Any Story Heavy Adventure Games in VR?

I just ordered a “Windows Mixed Reality” headset from the Black Friday sales, is there any story heavy adventure games in VR? Ones that you ask NPCs questions, combine inventory items and search for clues?

I wouldn’t mind some escape the room or puzzle type games as well.

Cheers.

Check out this:

From those, Obduction is the most famous. It is the game from Cyan Worlds, developers of Myst.

I played a demo of Statik(developed by Tarsier, developers of Little Nightmares) in one of the gaming shows, and it is really good (has an 84% metacritic score), but unfortunately it is only available for the PSVR as far as I can tell.

Welcome to Adventure Gamers, rowie. Smile

While there isn’t really any puzzle-based gameplay, The Invisible Hours is an entirely story-driven VR mystery.

And here are the best reviewed VR games on AG.

The Gallery series is great!
I also love Dead Secret and Dead Secret Circle.

FORM might not be as story heavy and there are no characters to interact with, but it’s one of the most beautiful puzzle/adventure games VR or 2D. Will leave you in awe.

Didn’t play them yet, but are supposed to be great:

-XING: The Land Beyond
-Torn
-I Expect You To Die

I have had a PSVR system for quite sometime. Love it. But I mainly do racing and shooting games.

I am trying my first puzzle game and so far it is quite fun. It is the VR mode of Tomb Raider.

I would recommend it.

I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
