Hey fellow gamers! This is an invitation for any one aged 12-18 who wishes to participate in a study looking at video gaming habits, relationships with parents and bad behaviour and how they might relate. As a participant you will simply be required to fill out a survey of 26 questions which should take about 5-10 minutes. This research will hopefully be able to aid in the knowledge of and understanding the effects that video games can have on those who play them.

Participation does have some risk involved. In order to participate in the survey you will have to consent to do so. Participating will require you to consider some past behaviour that may have been bad and remembering them could cause you to again feel guilt and remorse. You do not have to answer any questions you do not feel comfortable answering. In the event that you feel you need to talk to a professional about feelings that may come up as a result of doing the survey we have provided links to helpful websites (http://www.helpguide.org/mental/mental_emotional_health.htm, http://www.nami.org/, and http://www.cmha.ca/). Should you decide to participate you are always allowed to stop the survey at any time. If you decide to stop doing the survey none of your answers will be recorded, even those you may have already given. There are no consequences for withdrawing from the study at any time during the process.

To participate in this study simply go to https://adobeformscentral.com/?f=xGaV9zckIEGLmzTORQMJSQ and follow the instructions there. If you have any questions regarding the survey you are welcome to contact the researcher at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Thank you and happy gaming!
