Which of the Sierra like fanmade adventure games do y’all think have the best inventory puzzles? I’m talking out of Quest for Infamy, Heroine’s Quest, Tale of Two Kingdoms, and the rest like those.

but may those fall under the description (request) of 1.fanmade, 2.sierra-like even if some of them are remakes, 3.best puzzles.. but i may yeah, have ignored the inventory* puzzles part.
What is Kings Quest 0? Haven’t heard of that.
Also does this mean the inventory puzzles in Order of the Thorne, Quest for Infamy, and Heroine’s Quest aren’t that great?

its always referred to Wizard and the Princess and KQ0.
Tale of Two Kingdoms and Heroine’s Quest are both great. They have plenty of inventive puzzles with multiple solutions, the use of magic, skills, optional puzzles, etc. Everything you could wish in a Sierra game, very true to the canons. Quest for Infamy - not so much, it tries too much to be funny without paying attention to the story or puzzles.

Great. Appreciate the info. I know the actual QFG games were somewhat light on actual inventory puzzles. Speaking of, which of the 5 QFGs have the most of these type puzzles? Closer to something like KQ6 than the more RPG side?

Also, what about Order of the Thorne? How are the puzzles in it?

I thought it was rather uninspired - short, cliched, unfinished, with few easy puzzles here and there. Also, unlike Quest for Infamy, it really lacks humour.

QfI had mostly bathroom humor and puerile jokes about other bodily functions.
See you around, wolf. Nerissa
Quest for Infamy lacked everything that was good about Quest for Glory.

That’s true, but it had its trashy charm I guess. But you take that away - and you are left with a sterile and forgettable Order of the Throne.
