I want to pledge to a Kickstarter but not sure which one I’m looking for a game in the vein of classic Lucasarts games like Monkey Island and Sam and Max Hit the Road. Can someone recommend me some games to pledge to their campaign

Campaigns come and go. Some succeed, some don’t.

As far as I’m aware of, there are no such active campaigns now that you are looking for. There have been some unsuccessful ones in the past which may, or may not, return for a second chance. As for completely new campaigns, who knows when they come and what they are like.

The best way is to wait, and eventually there will be some interesting games. Not as much as there used to be though.
