The best series in the history of adventure gaming which contains the best adventure ever! Enough said 
Monkey Island. Twice.
TLJ stranded at 4 stars (although it and Dreamfall probably came closest to a 4.5 out of all the 4-star games in my book). Both Monkey Island games got a 4.5, so they win it for me.
Broken Sword is overrated. As in a 3-star game for me. I’m still wondering what the hell it’s doing amongst the final 8…

I love the Monkey Island series but…..
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge. Really hoped this would be in the top 4.
Monkey Island.
I vote for both Monkey Island games.
I didn’t come as a big surprise to me that The Longest Journey didn’t make it to the finals, even though it is my personal favourite and one of the best games ever made, as I know that there are many here on this forum that love to hate it. But that it should lose to what is imo by far an inferior game, did come as a big surprise.
I have no doubt that it will also lose again, but this time it will at least lose to a more worthy contender.

It’s really kind of ridiculous how mediocre Broken Sword is when compared to the rest of the top 8. I don’t think it ever would’ve made it so far if it ever faced any serious competition.

Match 1 - don’t feel I can vote here. Have yet to play TLJ. I didn’t love MI2 as much as most (/many).
Match 2 - waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Okay, I loved both games. Looking back at them in the cold light of day there were things about both that were frustrating. However, because of the brilliant puzzles (cups of grog, navigator head) and humour in MI1, I will vote for The Secret of Monkey Island.
