Voting for this bracket will end on 24 January at 23:59 GMT.

Match 1 - Do androids dream of magical journeys?
Blade Runner
Story was great, non-linear, and a little different every time. This is one of the few adventure games that I’ve played more than once.
Adventure Games Forever
Loved Blade Runner.
Giom
Blade Runner is really one of the best adventure games ever, and anyone that hasn’t played it needs to get on that. The game has some wildly divergent paths too, so no two playthroughs are alike and there’s a ton of vastly different endings.
Detective Mosely
To me it was mostly unique premise and wonderful atmosphere.
Doom
Story, atmosphere and gameplay experience win here.

The Longest Journey
TLJ is on my personal top 1 list!
Iznogood
UaKM is a great adventure but TLJ is TLJ.
Millenia
I find the Longest Journey a superb game…
Sefir
The Longest Journey was like a faint pulse of the adventure genre when it was in a coma. It’s a very epic game with a very deep story. I loved exploring the parallel worlds, especially Stark. I look forward to re-playing TLJ soon!
Adventure Games Forever
Probably the best adventure game made post the LucasArts era!
SoccerDude28
Match 2 - Sunday morning Vs. Saturday night cartoons
Day of the Tentacle
To me, this is not only the best adventure game, but the best video game ever made. The graphics (even till this day), the very funny humor, the animations, the sound effects, the voice acting, the very clever puzzles, the opening sequence, This game has it all. It is the closest to perfection I have ever seen.
SoccerDude28
Pretty much a walkover for DotT.
Iznogood
DoTT is still quite clearly superior being pretty much the perfect adventure.
Millenia
I love it—3 parallel time periods pave the way for some very interesting and entertaining puzzles, funny situations, and creative genius. I only played DOTT just a few years ago, and I can see why it is such a loved, classic favorite.
Adventure Games Forever
Full Throttle
Put into pieces it’s nothing special. But these ingredients were mixed in the best way I can imagine. The unusual protagonist, the cinematic feel, Peter Chan’s crazy art, the dystopian near future, the balance between humor and serious tone, the incredible voice acting.
Badlemon
I think Full Throttle needs to be taken as a true roll-model for that “cinematic experience” that is so popular now…
Bogi
...It’s still awesome, and super fun.
Millenia
This was actually the first LucasArts game that I was aware of. I enjoyed playing an adventure game as a “tough guy” for a change, as if I was playing a Duke Nukem in an AG. The post-apocalyptic desert wasteland was interesting and the game was just plain cool. An adventure game with balls! If there’s one game screaming for a classic adventure sequel like a motorcycle with no muffler, this is it!
Adventure Games Forever
Another amazing game by Tim Schafer, and the whole setting with futuristic biker gangs resonated with me.

1 - Blade Runner
2 - Day of the Tentacle
BladeRunner
FullThrottle
blade runner
day of the tentacle
The Longest Journey: This is a very tough choice between 2 games I truly love. I think though that I remember TLJ more fondly than Blade Runner.
Day of the Tentacle: This is another tough choice, as both of these games are among my favorite LucasArts games. The edge has to go to DOTT though, since it is my number one game of all time.
1. The Longest Journey
2. Full Throttle
I played all 4 of these games right around when they were released, so for once I have an equal perspective on all the games.
Blade Runner is a super cool game, but it lacks that little something that really makes it reach that upper echelon of games. And The Longest Journey has that, IMO. Maybe just barely, as it does have some flaws, but it has it. Still, this was a pretty close match.
And I’ve seen a lot of comments recently about how Full Throttle isn’t really that good. I really beg to differ. It’s a true 10/10 game for me, with my only complaint that I didn’t get more of it. The most pure fun that the adventure game genre has ever given us.
1. Blade Runner
2. Full Throttle
The Longest Journey
Day of the Tentacle
Yay, some easy choices….
Match 1: The Longest Journey
Match 2: Day of the Tentacle
2: Day of the Tentacle
1. The Longest Journey
2. Day of the Tentacle
1. The Longest Journey (Haven’t played Blade Runner, but I doubt I will enjoy it more than TLJ, which currently holds the No4 spot in my personal favorite games list)
2. DotT (Far from perfect, but a better game than FT nevertheless).
TLJ
DoTT
See you around, wolf. Nerissa

Match 1 - Blade Runner
Match 2 - DOTT
3.5 time winner of the “Really Annoying Caption Contest Saboteur” Award!
Blade Runner
Full Throttle
Both were tough match-ups, but I went with the underdogs in both matches.
