Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Tuesday 07 October 2014
Alt-Minds (2012) is, or rather was, a so-called transmedia experience developed by Lexis-Numerique, a company that has a track record of producing innovative games with fake websites. Five young scientists have disappeared, solve the mystery. Participants paid a mere 15 euros, which is incredibly cheap for eight weeks of online puzzles, videos, blogs, emails.
I participated for 10 days or so and found the story and puzzles intriguing. Problem was, it was too timeconsuming. There was so much to read, solve, think about that I couldn’t keep up. Miss one day and just catching up with all the new info is a lot of work.
I’d love to hear from people who have actually finished it. Anybody?
See you around, wolf. Nerissa
A game that is famous for featuring Trunkyo in front.
Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale
I didn’t play this precisely because it appeared too time-consuming.
I would have preferred it if I could play it at my leisure, like I could with In Memoriam / Missing: Since January (although in that game I didn’t really like it that I often had to stop for a day while I awaited an incoming e-mail)...
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
Alt-Minds (2012) Anybody?
Huh?
Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
Even Me.

I’ve never heard of this before. Sounds like the kind of thing I would have loved to take part in
The game seems interesting but a little heavy on commitment to keep up with! Hey! Some of us still have to work! Is that really you Trunkyo?
No, that’s not Akuma Trunkyo.
Diego’s just horsing around, as usual.
Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
Even Me.
