Our planet is Txschlrrr Ppppp…  our system for government is Ccchrlxzz Ptzkrzmism. And our chief exports are fpfpzllk, czztschrkrl, and fzzzkrplch.

Squish in Callahan’s Saloon is one of my favorite aliens. His English is pretty good and I love the wet, splashy way he talks. And he has six arms! Four normal, one retractable, one inflatable. Wouldn’t it be lovely to have so many arms… I could play games, drink coffee, scratch my head and pet my pet, all at the same time. I don’t want to humiliate Squish by asking what the inflatable one is for, or water will begin to cascade from his eyes and orange spots will blossom all over his face.

Now you reminded me of yet another adventure I should finish.

P.S. About that patient you mentioned in another thread - he’s dead, but I’ll resurrect him. Eventually.
P.P.S. Don’t you know it’s MMFT time?

Yes, you should finish it.

P.S. Eventually is not a time frame I recognize. Eventually is nothing. It’s Now. Or Never.
P.P.S. Changed your mind about participating, have you.  Tongue

I agree that Squish’s speech is awesome. As is Testosterone Noah in Squish’s chapter. Grin

Eventually is not a time frame I recognize.

I’ll be back on 26th of July, 2015 (if I don’t get killed in the meantime).
How about that for a time frame?

Nope, but I’m watching the tourney closely (closer than I ever dreamed).

Nah. Like I said: It’s NOW or NEVER. Preferably NOW.

Ah!! Callahan’s… One of my favorite games of all time (and the finale with Noah in Squish’s chapter the funniest moment ever. And that playthrough 1 1/2 years ago was my favorite as well)....

BTW, few remember that Squish is just a nickname Jake made because of all the squishing sounds. The real name was Dtzllchhh!! Smile

You and Diego.

I never really understood why you left from that great playthrough in the first place….

Callahan’s is not a good game for a playthrough (if you’re playing it for the first time), it’s so RICH and chock-full of content (there are thousands things you get each time you click on something in there, and it’s all hilarious but it takes time, a lot of time to hear/read it all). That’s why I decided to play CCS at my own pace on my own schedule and abandoned the playthrough.

That would have been true if the playthrough had not lasted for 4 months (15 days/chapter). Which it did.

Each to his own pace I guess…  Smile

I always wondered why Josh Mandel wrote so few comedy games. Callahan’s doc is probably of Bible length, with billions of jokes, parodies, puns all over the place. Yet apart from that he only collaborated on Freddy Pharkas and Space Quest 6. Ok, and Larry Reloaded, but that’s basically it. Even the same Larry series by Al Lowe includes more games. Shame.

After joining in (late) with the playthrough briefly I got so hooked I had to abandon it as I just couldn’t wait 15 days to play the next chapter! It’s one of my favourite games & Squish is a great alien - I wish they were all like him!    Laughing

Ah!  Callahan’s is the best comedy adventure ever, and I’m so glad I was able to join the playthrough.  The game was a tough one puzzle-wise, but I never felt frustrated because everything I clicked and tried was so entertaining.  The conclusion to the ship section was beautiful!
