Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Thursday 04 September 2014
One of the few Sierra games which have been neglected: Rama (1996). It’s supposed to be based on Rama II by Arthur Clarke, and the book was even included in my game box. Haven’t read it. But it’s primarily a Mystian 1st-person puzzle game in outer space, with FMV cut scenes and real actors. A bit like Lighthouse. The puzzles are quite hard.
It’s on my list of games I want to finish one day…

One day…
I’m in the same boat. I think it received a few votes for a community playthrough a while back but was rejected, and that’s the only way that will get me to boot it up again.
RAMA is a marvelous game. But a very difficult one. I couldn’t finish it without the strategy guide.

Wow. That looks cool. I didn’t even know about it! I love Arthur Clarke, too.

Haven’t read it.
You should, it is really very good, at least if you like sci-fi and Arthur C. Clarke.

I might. When I opened the box for the first time in years for this AGSotD and rediscoverd the book, my first thought was that I should read it.
