Glottis, the demon in the Land of the Dead, is the biggest one of my three midweek dummies and undoubtedly the smartest. He’s really just a little simple. Not everybody loves him though. I do. Manny rules, but for me the game would not be as good without buddy Glottis flying his car, gambling and getting drunk in the high rollers lounge, playing the piano and singing.  I missed this song first time I played Grim Fandango, because you have to show him a certain object:

Oh my boat’s got a rusty anchor
Rusty as she can be
Every port I go I drop her
But she always comes back to me

Oh Rusty Anchor, goin’ down down down
Oh Rusty Anchor, guess gotta hang around

Cool

If there will ever be a GF sequel, I would hate to see Manny as the main character, as his story is complete. I feel there is a lot of potential in Glottis though, especially since he stayed behind with the “little demons”. Smile

And yes, he is not just big. He is loveable too!!

There’s no way could I tolerate Glottis’s voice for an entire game.

Then how about a cameo appearance? Tongue

Also, Pan!

Glottis is awesome, damnit!  Cool

I love Glottis too, he’s definitely part of what makes GF so funny, but I think Oscar has a point, Glottis as a main character would be overkill. Garlic is a must in some dishes too, but can never be the star. So there it is, Glottis equals garlic. Whud’ve thunk?

Duckman: Can you believe it? Five hundred bucks for a parking ticket?
Cornfed Pig: You parked in a handicapped zone.
Duckman: Who cares? Nobody parks there anyway, except for the people who are supposed to park there and, hell, I can outrun them anytime.

How about a scene where Glottis visits an elocution expert and trains his vocal cords to sound like…Tony Tough?

I love Glottis. He’s my favorite part of the entire game. His alcohol problem is a highlight for sure.
